Student Broadcasting Training
We provide structured, hands-on training in sports broadcasting and production for high school, college students and recent graduates. Students learn: Camera operation & live streaming Sideline reporting & commentary Video editing & digital storytelling Interview skills & broadcast professionalism
High School Sports Coverage
We cover football, basketball, baseball, and more. Our student teams produce: Live game coverage Play-by-play commentary Post-game interviews Game highlights and reels shared across our media channels This gives schools, student-athletes, and communities a platform to showcase local talent.
Media Production Services for Schools
We offer customized broadcast and media production support to: Schools wanting to launch or expand media programs Athletic departments seeking game coverage Sponsors and community partners looking for youth media engagement From event production to branded content creation.

The Sports Broadcast Academy, powered by the Scholar Athletes Sports Network (SASN), is a premier youth media program that provides high school students in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia with hands-on training in sports broadcasting, video production, and digital storytelling.
Our mission is simple: to develop student talent on and off the field by equipping the next generation with the skills to succeed in the sports media industry.
What We Do
We partner with public and private high schools across the DMV to offer:
Sports broadcasting internships for high school students
- Sports broadcasting internships for college students and recent graduates
Real-time game coverage of football, basketball, baseball, and more
Training in camera operation, live commentary, editing, and reporting
Coverage of major events like the DC, Maryland & Virginia state championships, and Private school tournaments
Our students don’t just learn — they broadcast live games, conduct player interviews, and create highlight reels watched by thousands of fans online.
